Making sure your home is ready for fire season is a year-round effort. There is no “one size fits all” approach but it is crucial to have a coupled strategy focusing on fire-resistant structures and defensible space. 

It is everyone’s responsibility to know the laws, prepare their properties, organize at the neighborhood level and work with first responders by understanding and following evacuation orders. They are trained to protect your home. Any effort you make to create defensible space, increases the likelihood your home will survive a wildfire.
