Library Features and Location

Named for former County Library, Madelyn Helling. this location is the main branch of the Nevada County Library system. It is located near the Eric Rood Government Center in Nevada City. 

Collaborative Technology Center (CTC)

 The Madelyn Helling Library CTC offers free technology classes and the use of digital resources.  Check our calendar to sign up for classes or call for assistance at 530-265-7050. 

Gene Albaugh Community Room

The Madelyn Helling library is the also the home of the library's Gene Albaugh Community Room, available for rental at $10 per hour with a 2 hour minimum and 10 hour per month maximum.

Gold Rush and Prospector Study Rooms

Two study rooms are available for reservation in 30 minute increments with a 2 hour maximum and limit of 2 reservations at any given time.  Capacity not to exceed 6 people and rooms are not to be used for business purposes, including paid tutoring.
