PaulCummings - Former Skillbridge Intern and current County employee

"I am so thankful for the opportunities and the relationships I formed as an intern in the Skillbridge Program. This community along with the County of Nevada have so much to offer employees and I encourage you to reach out with questions or support as you transition into employment with this great organization.”

“It has been an incredible experience working here at the County for the past four months as I have undergone both professional and personal growth and changes in my life. I have learned a lot about how county government works in regard to its impact on the lives and health of the community and achieved some milestones thanks to the opportunities afforded to me at both the Health and Human Services Agency and at the Public Health Department. As an Active-Duty Soldier, I had no prior experience working in government at the county level, however, thanks to the kind, experienced and welcoming staff at the County, I quickly assimilated into the culture and became a part of the work and organization instantly upon my transition.”
