The Office of the County Counsel provides legal representation and advice to the Board of Supervisors, county departments and other public agencies and special districts, as mandated and authorized by the county charter and state statutes.
The office provides comprehensive legal services directed at promoting the public service objectives of the county, while protecting the county from risk and loss.
