• The Recorded Document Index search engine applies ONLY to documents recorded in Nevada County. The online index is from 1987 to present.

Contact local Law Enforcement or contact the Nevada County District Attorney's Office - we are not authorized to take any legal action on your behalf.

Why do fraudulent documents get recorded

The State of California requires the Recorder's Office to record all documents that meet recording requirements outlined in California Statue. We have no authority to refuse to record a document that meets recording requirements based on legal sufficiency.
