Jazmin Breaux started as the new Tahoe-Truckee Program Manager on January 28th.
Jazmin brings over 10 years of experience providing direct services, program development, and program management to individuals and families experiencing a variety of life challenges including substance use disorders, mental health problems, chronic health conditions, trauma, and homelessness. She resides locally in eastern Nevada County.
Most recently, Jazmin served as the Veteran Experience Program Coordinator for the Sierra Nevada Veterans Administration in Reno. Prior to this Jazmin worked at Brilliant Corners in San Francisco, a supportive housing agency serving individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities in the San Francisco Bay Area. While at Brilliant Corners, Jazmin worked as a Program Manager, supervising six Social Workers utilizing Housing First concepts with a caseload of 250 homeless veterans. Jazmin's background also includes working as a Homeless Case Manager for two years in the City of Long Beach.
She earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from CSU East Bay, and her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from CSU Long Beach.
