Teachers and afterschool providers who want to learn how to teach with Arduinos are welcome to join John Powers in this free two-hour workshop.
Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs - light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message - and turn it into an output - activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online.
As a teacher or after-school provider, you are able to check out Arduinos as part of our Technology Lending Librarywith your library card!
