Due to current pandemic restrictions, the Tax Office is open by appointment only for those who can only remit payment by cash. We are encouraging taxpayers to pay by check, online or over the phone whenever possible. Payments can be dropped off in the Rood Center Drop-Box (lobby or drive-up) until 5pm on December 10th. Mailed payments must be postmarked timely (we highly encourage a hand-stamped postmark if mailing close to the Dec. 10, 2020 due date). Late postmarks will be charged a 10% penalty and payments returned (in accordance with State law). Payments can also be made online up until 11:59 p.m. on December 10th at https://common2.mptsweb.com/mbc/nevada/tax/search or by phone 1-877-445-5917. There is a 2.38% fee for credit/debit card payments charged by the vendor but electronic check is FREE. (need routing and account number).
