Pleasant Fire started in the late afternoon of August 30th, 2017 near North San Juan outside of Nevada City, CA. Please use our GIS map to find current evacuation areas, evacuation routes, and road closures. We will be updating the our social media (Twitter, and Nevada County Office of Emergency Services, Nevada County Sheriff's Office, and County of Nevada, CA Facebook pages) site below as we receive updates.

Evacuee's headed to Nevada City/Grass Valley from North of NSJ can take Sweetland Rd. East of NSJ can take Oak Tree Rd to Tyler Foote and HWY 49 South.

Second vehicle fire reported further east up Tyler Foote Rd on off of Cruzon Grade Rd on Foxfire Wy. Fire has not transferred to brush yet.

Mandatory evacuations now in place for Robinson Rd, Brotherhood Wy, Tobacco Rd, New School Rd and east to Maidu Ridge Rd.
As a reminder, the evacuation center has been opened at First Baptist Church - 1866 Ridge Rd in Grass Valley.

The Pleasant fire in North San Juan has prompted evacuations on Ivey Ln and all roads off of Hyatt Ln. Take all precautions for your safety and be aware of fire apparatus in the area.
