Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday happen annually after the Thanksgiving holiday, giving residents the chance to support local during the holiday season. Visit your favorite local small businesses this Small Business Saturday or plan to give to your favorite Nevada County nonprofit to celebrate Giving Tuesday.

This holiday season, visit our downtown or unincorporated areas to shop local or reach out to your favorite local nonprofit to find out how you can support their cause. Find resources below to help you get started.

Giving Tuesday

Center for Nonprofit Leadership (CNL) has created a Nonprofit Wish List for their members - a great place to get started if you'd like to participate in Giving Tuesday. However, not all local nonprofits may be members of CNL, so don't forget to reach out directly to ask how you can support or donate if your favorite local nonprofit is not on this list.
