Nature Backpacks from the Library and Bear Yuba Land Trust are available to check out for all-ages! Each backpack contains a mini microscope, binoculars, local trail maps and wildlife guides for you to use as you go hiking this summer on our local Nevada County trails! Also in the backpacks are items for you to keep, including a waterproof notepad, pencil and seasonal trail activities, like scavenger hunts, curated by Bear Yuba Land Trust.
The launch of Nature Backpacks coincides with this year’s Summer Learning Program, “Read Beyond the Path.” Nevada County Library and BYLT would like to encourage patrons of all-ages to participate with us in both reading and getting outdoors this summer!
