[ARCHIVED] Nevada County Connects Free Transit Fares July 15th & 16th to Access Healthcare Service Clinics

Come receive free Healthcare Services from California CareForce in Grass Valley at the Nevada Union Highschool. To make this free service more accessible, Nevada County Connects offers free fares on all routes on July 15th and 16th! The clinic hours are 7 am to 5 pm Friday and Saturday. Sunday, July 17th the clinic will be available from 7 am to 12 pm (noon). 

This 3-day event is first come first serve and offers dental, vision, and medical assistance - other services are available. No need for proof of insurance, employment, income, or residency. For more information, please visit the California CareForce website or see the Clinic Flyer. 

County of Nevada Transit Services has received a Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) air quality grant that provides public transit funding assistance for projects that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve mobility. 

Nevada County Connects will be operating normal schedules and times on all routes with free fares for all

Funded through the Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP).  

Details

What: Free California CareForce Health Care Clinic
Dates: July 15-17, 2022
Hours: Friday and Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm; Sunday 7:00 am to 12:00 pm
Where: Nevada Union High School, 11645 Ridge Road, Grass Valley, CA 95945
Cost: All services are free and are offered on a first come, first served basis on the day of services as capacity allows. 
What to Bring: Your prescription medication, appropriate clothing, food, and water. Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 24 hours of clinic attendance. Onsite testing will be available.
