Nevada County Veterans Services Officer David West recently received an Employee Veteran Leadership Award form GI Jobs Magazine. The award honors 27 veterans nationwide who are making a difference in their communities.
West was nominated for the award by our local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Chapter 2655.
"I’m so proud of David and his work, and the relationships he has built with our local veteran organizations that resulted in this well-deserved recognition," said Nevada County Social Services Director Rachel Roos.
