The holidays will be merrier this year for Nevada County’s foster kids, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, nonprofits, and residents. Nevada County Child Welfare Services’ annual Giving Tree Program collected gifts for 132 children, provided 70 families with food baskets, and provided furniture (couch, dining table, chairs, dressers) to a family in need.
