The Nevada County Registrar of Voters is excited to announce the launch of a new ballot statistics dashboard, providing an unprecedented level of transparency for voters during this election season.
This tool, available on www.NevadaCountyCa.gov/November5Election, allows residents to track the number of ballots returned every weekday, offering real-time insights into voter participation. Ballots were mailed today for the Nov. 5 General Election.
The dashboard, which is scheduled to be updated by 6 p.m. every weekday, also displays statistics on the party breakdown of returned ballots and the method of return (i.e. mail, in person, etc.). It ensures that the public has access to the most current information available and is part of the Elections Office’s ongoing commitment to making the election more accessible and secure.
“We believe this new feature increases transparency and helps build trust in the elections process,” said Registrar of Voters Natalie Adona. “With this dashboard, the public will now have a clear picture of voter participation in this election.”
Among the choices voters are asked to make this election are selections for candidates for President, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, state Senate, state Assembly, Grass Valley City Council, Truckee Town Council, numerous school and local boards, 10 state propositions and three local ballot measures.
Voters may vote and return their ballot in the mail or use drop boxes available throughout the county through Election Day. Voters may also vote in person at the Nevada County Government Center, 950 Maidu Ave. in Nevada City or Truckee Town Hall, 10183 Truckee Airport Road, during regular business hours.
