Nevada County Connects transit system is proud to partner with the Nevada County Elections Office to offer free bus fare days on Monday, Nov.4 and Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5 for all routes and paratransit services.
Everyone can use the free services to get out and vote at one of Nevada County’s Vote Centers.
- Gold Miners Inn (Ballroom), Grass Valley – Tinloy Transit Center (all routes)
- Nevada County Fairgrounds (Main Hall), Grass Valley – route 3 (gate 8 @ Brighton St.)
- Higgins Lions Community Center, S. County – route 5 (Combie Rd. @ Lake Center)
- Condon Park – Love Building, Grass Valley – route 3 (Brighton @ Minnie Park with a short 5-minute walk)
- Western Gateway Park – Buttermaker’s Cottage, Penn Valley – route 6 (Penn Valley Dr. @ Western Gateway Park)
- Nevada County Government Center, Nevada City – routes 1 and 7
- North San Juan Community Center, North San Juan – route 7 (Nov. 5 only)

Save the Date: Free Fares on Nov. 9 and Nov. 12
Nevada County Connects will offer free bus fares to honor the Veterans Day holiday. Free fares will be on Saturday, Nov. 9, and Tuesday, Nov. 12 (there is no service on Sunday, Nov. 10, and the observed Veterans Day holiday, Monday, Nov. 11).
This free fare event is funded by a Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) grant.
