Voter's Choice Act
Nevada County is under a new model this election season called the Voter’s Choice Act, providing greater flexibility and convenience for voters. Vote by Mail and Voter Information Guides were mailed out to all registered Nevada County voters on Tuesday, October 9th. Every registered Nevada County voter had the option to Vote by Mail or drop their Vote by Mail ballots at any Drop Box location. Under the Voter's Choice Act, Nevada County residents also had the option to stop by a 11-day or 4-day Vote Center to register to vote and vote, even in the same day, through Election Day.
