To date, there have been no reported cases of H5N1 bird flu in cows or humans in Nevada County and raw milk from Raw Farm, LLC has been voluntarily recalled from stores throughout the state. Consumers are advised not to consume raw milk and to return any remaining product to the store where it was purchased. Pasteurized milk remains safe to drink.
