Nevada County Library is excited to partner with Tahoe Backcountry Alliance to offer California SNO-Parks permits this year! California's 18 SNO-Parks, cleared parking areas for vehicles, provide opportunities for non-motorized winter activities, including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and snow play. A handful of SNO-Parks offer access to both motorized and non-motorized activities.
Visit your local Nevada County Library branch to check one out with your library card. Permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. They are loaned for 7 days and cannot be renewed.
