In October, over 750 Nevada County residents took advantage of Public Health’s Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic in Grass Valley and Flu Shot Drive in Truckee.
Flu season is not over yet!
The California Department of Public Health reports that since Sept 30th there have already been 3 deaths associated with influenza infection. More information about flu in California can be found on their website under "Influenza and Other Respiratory Viruses Weekly Report.”

Public Health is continuing to protect our communities from illness by offering flu vaccinations along with other CDC recommended vaccinations such as Pneumococcal, Diphtheria, and Pertussis vaccines.
