Auction items can come from different groups within the County, including County surplus sales, unclaimed property, and estate auctions managed by the Public Administrator. The County regularly posts surplus equipment and other items, while the Sheriff’s Office contributes auction items through the Public Administrator’s estate cases and unclaimed property. When the Public Administrator manages an estate without family or legal representation, we handle debt settlement and asset distribution, with some items being auctioned to benefit the estate.
