On Friday, May 2, from 5 -7 p.m., the Nevada County Board Chambers will transform into a “Shark Tank” style setting as six teams of 9th–12th graders pitch their innovative business ideas to a panel of judges. The event marks the exciting finale of the Young Entrepreneur Pitch Week, where students have been honing their ideas, building pitch decks, and developing the confidence to present their visions to the world.
Held at the Nevada County Government Center (950 Maidu Avenue, Nevada City), this free event is open to the public and promises an evening of creativity, ambition, and youth-driven innovation. Generously sponsored by River Valley Community Bank, the competition includes three awards: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, and a Crowd Favorite—voted on by attendees. Come cheer on these future business leaders and be inspired by the next generation of entrepreneurs!
