NEVADA CITY, Calif. — The Madelyn Helling Library is thrilled to announce the launch of a new monthly art class for adults. Designed for both beginners and experienced artists, the class will be held on the first Monday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and will be led by professional artist and educator Anita Lincoln.

No prior art experience is necessary — participants only need to bring their creativity and a willingness to explore. All art supplies will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring a personal journal or sketchbook for optional warm-up exercises.
Monthly Themes and Projects
Each month, the class will feature a unique project that highlights different techniques, styles and artistic inspirations. The June session will be centered around Spiraling Sparkle Acrylics. Future sessions may include collage, mixed media, abstract design and seasonal themes, offering a new and enriching experience each time.
