Happy Monday Everyone!

Here is the Agenda for the Penn Valley Area Plan Community Workshop #3 as a friendly reminder that we hope to see all of you this Thursday, March 28, at the Ready Springs Elementary School at 6:00 p.m. Don’t hesitate to email Coleen Shade (coleen.shade@co.nevada.ca.us) should you have any questions. Please send the agenda to your friends and neighbors or better yet, give them a call and personally invite them to join us to inform the future of Penn Valley!


1. WELCOME—Susan Hoek, Nevada County Supervisor District  IV


2.      INTRODUCTION–Coleen Shade, Nevada County Planner

3. PANEL DISCUSSION

> Brad Torres —Operations Manager, Public Works-Wastewater

  > Greg Jones— Nevada Irrigation District

> Nancy Pierce— Board of Directors Chair, Western Gateway Park

> Ken Harden/Frank Goss—Penn Valley Community Foundation

Each speaker will provide a 10 minute overview of their organization, current of infrastructure/service and future plans . Time for Q & A at the end.


4. WORKSHOP ACTIVITY

Presentation on first draft of Land Use and Zoning Map for Penn Valley Area Plan followed by Q & A. Participants will next break into two groups to discuss pros and cons of Draft Map and associated policies.

> Station #1: Pros and Cons regarding Draft Map and permissible uses

> Station #2: Pros and Cons regarding Draft  Land use Policies

> Station #3: Western Gateway Park Opportunities 

4. REPORT OUT
