The first day of Free Residential Green Waste Disposal kicked off today and was a smashing success. The program was so popular all disposal containers filled at six locations by midday. The Nevada County Fairgrounds, Gate 8, is the only location that will be open on Sunday, May 5th.
Plans are in place to scale up capacity at each site for the following weekends in May. This program is largely run by volunteers.
