[ARCHIVED] Community Development Partners with QLess to Reduce Wait Times

QLess_NewsFlash ver2

The Nevada County Community Development Agency (CDA) has implemented QLess, a dynamic line-management solution, to reduce wait times for customers. QLess helps organizations of all sizes improve the customer experience with an easy-to-use app, and is used all over the world.

The most exciting benefit of using QLess is giving customers the ability to join a line remotely. Nevada County CDA customers now can join a line via the County's website, or from their mobile phones via text or the QLess app. QLess provides CDA customers with text updates on where they are in line and provides options for the customers to request more time if needed. This means that customers can join a line before they even leave the house, which will reduce the amount of time spent waiting in the lobby. With the new solution, Nevada County CDA expects to improve their customer satisfaction, reduce wait times, and cut waiting room crowds.

"We are committed to improving the experience we offer at Nevada County CDA," said Barbara McAllaster, Administrative Analyst. "Smart technology solutions like QLess are a huge benefit for our customers and our organization. By improving how customers experience wait times, we also provide a more productive and positive environment for our staff members."

This system also provides improved reporting capabilities, which will enable staff to more accurately assess the volume and flow of customers, services provided, and service duration and wait times. This allows CDA to more closely align counter staffing with customer needs and provide a more satisfactory experience for customers.

"We are pleased to partner with Nevada County CDA, helping the organization take a major leap forward with its customer service," said Dr. Alex Bäcker, founder and CEO, QLess. "We alleviate stress and improve the customer experience, and I'm proud that our software is being used in such a wonderful manner."
