Nevada County is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Roos as Nevada County’s Social Services Director, effective June 16th, 2020. Since 2011 Rachel has served as Executive Director of Victor Community Support Services, a community-based organization focused on mental health and support services for children and families. In that position Rachel works closely with Juvenile Probation, Child Welfare, Children’s Behavioral Health and other community organizations. Prior to joining Victor, Rachel was the Program Manager for Child Welfare in Nevada County.
