Nevada County Supervisor Ed Scofield has been re-appointed to serve as Treasurer of the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) for 2022. This will be the fourth consecutive year that Supervisor Scofield serves in this leadership position for the Association that represents California's 58 counties at the state and federal level.
“I have known Supervisor Scofield for many years now and have always appreciated the professionalism and experience that he brings to the table. I am honored that he is stepping up to the plate. We are very pleased,” said CSAC President Supervisor Ed Valenzuela.
As Treasurer, Supervisor Scofield works closely with CSAC Officers and leadership staff to prepare the Association's budget, oversee the annual financial audit of the organization, as well as serve as an ex officio member of the Executive Committee.
The California State Association of Counties is the voice of California's 58 counties at the state and federal level.
