Tine Mathiasen, Deputy Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, has been elected as treasure of California Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Association (CCBSA). As one of the association's three officer positions, the treasurer is responsible for the association’s monies, budget, and financial reporting. In addition to holding a leadership role on the executive committee, Mathiasen will also serve as the chair of the finance committee and a member of the annual conference committee.
Mathiasen has been a member of CCBSA since 2020, and in 2021, she received a competitive scholarship from the association for professional development. In 2022, she served on the executive committee as Sierra regional co-chair, and this year, she served on the finance committee and on the executive committee as Sierra regional chair.
Mathiasen has been a Nevada County employee since 2014, starting in the Community Development Agency. In 2019, she was hired into the Board of Supervisors/Clerk of the Board Office. In 2020,
Mathiasen held an acting position in the Human Resources Department (concurrent with her role in Clerk of the Board and the Board of Supervisors), and also advanced to her current Deputy Clerk to the Board of Supervisors position. Mathiasen earned a bachelors of arts degree from Cal Poly Humboldt, is a CSAC - credentialed county senior executive, and was named Nevada County 2019/2020 Employee of the Year.
