Ninety-two Nevada County employees were honored on Feb. 20 by the Board of Supervisors for reaching service milestones of 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 years.
Two employees were honored for 25 years of service: Krista Pyzer, a clerk-recorder assistant, and Jane Leedy, an eligibility supervisor.
"I’m grateful that when I have had changes in my life, my job was a constant,” said Pyzer. “After 25 years, I still enjoy the work and the people."
Leedy said she tells people all the time she has the best job in the world. “Every day, I get to support the development and success of people within my department, and I have a positive impact on the lives of so many people in our community, and I get paid to do it!”
