Join Nevada County Connects for 12 Days of Holiday Cheer as Nevada County Connects offers free fares on all routes from Dec. 17 through the end of the year! It’s our gift to you for the holidays.
As a special holiday gift to all our riders, Nevada County Connects will provide free fares on all routes and on Nevada County Now ADA paratransit services starting Dec. 17 through Dec. 31. Nevada County Connects will operate regular schedules and times on all routes.
Nevada County Connects will not run service on Dec. 25, Christmas Day, and Jan. 1, New Year's Day.
Also, enjoy free shuttles to local events:
- Victorian Christmas: Ride the free shuttle to Victorian Christmas on Wednesday, Dec. 18 from Tinloy Transit Center in downtown Grass Valley to Broad St in Nevada City.
- Cornish Christmas: Ride the free shuttle to Cornish Christmas on Friday, Dec. 20. The shuttle runs from the Broad St bridge in Nevada City to Tinloy Transit Center, Brighton St (gate 8) and Pine Creek Shopping Center.
County of Nevada Transit Services has received a Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) air quality grant that provides public transit funding assistance for projects that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve mobility.
