Thank an Essential Worker

We hope it is clear to everyone that the shelter in place or stay at home order is mandatory. We understand this is a challenging time, so we are encouraging all Nevada County to volunteer to take the extra step of educating friends and neighbors on this issue and bring compassion, kindness and sense of civic duty to the challenges we are facing.

A simple way to participate is to thank an essential worker. From medical professionals on the front lines of this pandemic to public works crews who are keeping the roads safe and wastewater managed at the County, to grocery store clerks who keep the shelves stocked, our local essential services workers deserve our thanks.
