Code Compliance Works With Property Owner to Cleanup ParcelNevada County property owners knew there were complicated issues involved with cleaning up their property. With the guidance of Nevada County Code Compliance staff, the property owners better understood the unique challenges they faced and were connected to resources that assisted them in carrying out this large-scale cleanup project.
While it took many years, clear information, and recommendations from Code Compliance staff, an improvement plan was created to bring the property back within standards. The plan included the use of local experts to work the property. In a herculean effort, the cleanup took 53.5 hours of labor and an additional 81 hours logged by an excavator. This effort transformed the property and further reduced fire, life, health, and safety risks to the public and environment.
