The public is invited to participate in an upcoming workshop to share feedback that will help shape the County’s Resource Resiliency Roadmap.  The roadmap is intended to help safeguard the community’s economic durability, environmental integrity and health in the face of changing climate conditions. 

The roadmap will provide voluntary strategies and partnerships to strengthen Nevada County’s ability to adapt to climate impacts such as wildfire smoke, extreme heat, power outages, and reduced snowpack, while positioning the County for future state and federal funding opportunities.

Climate resiliency is one of the Board of Supervisors’ eight priority objectives.
