Meet Nevada County’s New Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters at December Events

Nevada County residents are invited to a series of informal meet-and-greet events with newly appointed Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters Armando Salud-Ambriz in December. The sessions will be conducted in English and Spanish.

Community members can stop by, say hello, and ask questions about elections, voter registration, and clerk-recorder services at the following times and locations:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 2, 12–1:30 p.m. Java Johns County Café, Nevada County Government Center, 950 Maidu Ave., Nevada City
  • Wednesday, Dec. 3, 4:30–6 p.m. Communal Café, 233 Broad St., Nevada City
  • (CANCELED) Monday, Dec. 8, 5-6 p.m. Thirsty Barrel,116 Neal St., Grass Valley
  • Wednesday, Dec. 10, 12–1:30 p.m. Java Dream,11434 Pleasant Valley Road, Penn Valley
  • Thursday, Dec. 11, 4:30-6 p.m. Truckee Library, 10031 Levon Ave.
  • Monday, Dec. 22, 12-1 p.m. Casa Baeza, 10010 Bridge St., Truckee

“These gatherings are a chance for me to listen, learn from our voters and residents, and answer questions about how our office serves the community,” said Salud-Ambriz.

Attendees are asked to RSVP Lisa.Renner@NevadaCountyCA.gov and indicate which date they plan to attend. Events may be canceled if there are not enough RSVPs.
