Community Development News Posted on January 29, 2026

The Nevada County Recreation Coalition is inviting vendors and exhibitors to participate in the second annual Nevada County Recreation Fair on Saturday, April 25, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Nevada County Fairgrounds.

Early bird pricing is available through Feb. 28. Exhibitor fees are $75 for food and business vendors and $25 for nonprofit organizations. After Feb. 28, fees increase to $125 for food and business and $50 for nonprofits.

The Recreation Fair celebrates all things recreation and outdoor living and offers organizations the opportunity to showcase activities, programs, summer camps, sports leagues, entertainment, stewardship efforts, fitness services, and more—anything that gets the community moving and having fun.

“The Nevada County Recreation Fair is about bringing our community together to celebrate the incredible range of activities and outdoor experiences that make this region so special,” said Shavati Karki-Pearl, Senior Administrative Analyst for Nevada County and Recreation Coalition lead.

Following the success of last year’s event, the Coalition is excited to bring the Recreation Fair back bigger and better. Exhibitors play a vital role in highlighting the wide range of recreation opportunities available to residents and visitors of all ages and abilities.

Why Participate?

By joining the Nevada County Recreation Fair, vendors and exhibitors can:

  • Reach new audiences and potential customers
  • Connect with fellow recreation providers and community members
  • Increase visibility through sponsorship and raffle opportunities
  • Promote programs, services, and events in a fun, family-friendly environment

Sponsorship opportunities are also available, starting at $100, with five tiers that include benefits such as booth space, logo placement, and promotional mentions. Raffle donations and in-kind sponsorships offer additional ways to promote your organization while supporting a community event.

Sponsorships directly support this free, public event and help expand recreation programs and opportunities for people of all ages across Nevada County.

From outdoor adventures to indoor programs, organized sports to self-guided activities, the Fair reflects Nevada County’s commitment to healthy, active living. The County is working closely with community partners to strengthen connections, increase access, and support the continued growth of recreation throughout the region.
