Protect yourself and your loved ones by getting your Regular or High-Dose flu shot. November means more time indoors, holiday gatherings, and visitors from out of town. That’s when flu spreads fast.
Public Health provides immunization clinics on the second, third and fourth Thursday of every month (except holidays) from 1 to 4 p.m. at 500 Crown Point Circle in Grass Valley and on the first and third Mondays (except holidays) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 10075 Levon Avenue, Suite 202 in Truckee. Clinics are by appointment only and while supplies last. Schedule your free flu shot with Public Health by calling (530) 265-7049, or make an appointment with your local pharmacy or primary care physician.
In October, over 350 community members rolled up their sleeves and received a free flu shot from Nevada County Public Health. While all the community clinics have wrapped up, flu vaccines are still available.
