SNO-Park Permit Borrowing Policies:
- Permits are checked out for 7 days.
- Permits are non-renewable.
- Return permits to the library from which it was borrowed in packaging provided.
- Permits are available to Nevada County Library cardholders. Limited cardholders are not eligible to check out Sno-Park permits.

North Tahoe SNO-Park locations:
Donner Summit: Donner Summit is located on the south side of I-80 at the Castle Peak exit beyond Boreal Inn. Recommended Activities: Cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and snow play. There are no hills for sledding at this location.
Blackwood Canyon: Blackwood Canyon is located on the west side of Highway 89, three miles south of Tahoe City in Placer County. Overnight camping is not allowed. Recommended Activities: Cross-county skiing, dog sledding, and snow play.
Yuba Pass: Yuba Pass is located on the south side of Highway 49 at Yuba Pass. Recommended Activities: Cross-country skiing, dog sledding, snow play, and snowmobiling.
