Children's Behavioral Health is located at the Brighton Greens Resource Center in Grass Valley and at the Joseph Government Center in Truckee.
Who We Serve
Children
and youth who have Nevada County Medi-Cal and meet moderate to severe criteria
for Behavioral Health Treatment: recent psychiatric hospitalization, Probation
or Child Welfare involvement, significant challenges at school, homelessness, or a complex
combination of concerns that may involve trauma, depression or anxiety symptoms, and housing instability.

- Individual and Group Counseling
- Psychiatry
- Support through service coordinators
- Home based wrap around support for children and families who need more intensive care
Treatment location is based on need and can take place at the Nevada County Behavioral Health Office, schools, Family Resource Centers, or other locations convenient for the family. Therapists are trained in a variety of techniques and work with youth of all ages. Therapy is provided in both English and Spanish.
