Prostate cancer is the third leading cause of cancer death in men and is nearly 100% survivable if caught early. National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month is observed every September by health experts, health advocates and individuals concerned with or affected by this cancer.
In recognition of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the Dignity Health Cancer & Research Institutes are offering free prostate cancer screening in Grass Valley on Wednesday, September 18th.
