[ARCHIVED] Child Support Services and Community Beyond Violence Collaborate on School Supply Drive

A tan backpack overflows with schools supplies.

Sierra Nevada Regional Department of Child Support Services (SNRDCSS), in collaboration with Community Beyond Violence (CBV), is seeking donations of new backpacks and school supplies for children aged 5-17. Our agencies share a common belief that healthy families and relationships are of the utmost importance for a vibrant community. We are excited to help local children in need start their school year prepared with a backpack full of school supplies.

The support of the community is imperative to the success of this drive. Please join SNRDCSS and CBV in their effort to help kids feel confident and ready to learn as they enter the 22-23 school year!

In addition to donations of new backpacks, the school supplies needed include pencils, colored pencils, crayons, highlighters, spiral notebooks, paper (wide and college-ruled), scissors, erasers, rulers, folders, glue, scientific calculators, and binders.
