Nevada County Public Health, the Mental Health Matters Nevada County Coalition and key partners will be hosting a Suicide Prevention Awareness Night at Nevada Union High School’s cafeteria on Monday, September 30 from 5:30 – 7:00pm. Attendees will learn how to identify the warning signs of suicide, how to reach out and support someone they’re concerned about, and about important local and national suicide prevention and mental health resources, including on-campus and community supports. The event is open to all families and youth in the community and no registration is required. We hope to see you there!
