Public Health is taking our mobile health unit into the community to provide services like flu shots, HIV/Hep C testing and dental screenings.
We will be at the annual Point-In-Time count January 28th 9 AM -4 PM at the Commons Resource Center distributing Naloxone and other health supplies. This event is a way to identify how many unhoused individuals are living in Nevada County, which supports the ability to plan for housing solutions and apply for necessary funding. The event is providing food, gift cards (for survey participants) and connection to service providers.
