The 2024 PIT count was a full count conducted by the Nevada County Regional Continuum of Care (NCRCoC), in coordination with Nevada County and the Homeless Resource Council of the Sierras (HRCS) and included both sheltered and unsheltered. For 2024, 258 sheltered and 258 unsheltered were counted for a total of 516 people experiencing homelessness.

211 Connecting Point serves as the point of contact for Nevada County’s Coordinated Entry system. Coordinated Entry creates a centralized list of people who need housing assistance, allowing housing providers to identify the most vulnerable individuals and families that would be eligible for housing services.
