Purpose
The SED Team is a specialized tactics and weapons unit specifically implemented for high risk search warrant service, arrest warrant service, barricaded suspects, or hostage incidents.
Services to Citizens
In addition to the aforementioned duties of the Team, members perform:
- Development of emergency action plans
- Threat analysis
- Training for other members of the department, including patrol staff, corrections, and court security
Training
The team trains a minimum of two days per month.
