December 1st - January 31st

Sign up for the Winter Reading Challenge and celebrate the season with reading, creativity and cozy activities for all ages. Visit any Nevada County library branch to register. Participants will receive a free book at signup, courtesy of the Friends of the Nevada County Libraries. Complete a bingo card of activities (available in English and Spanish) to earn a special prize!

For Young Readers and Teens
Complete five wintery activities on your bingo card, from reading a book in a cozy blanket fort to baking cookies, playing a board game to taking a winter walk with a friend. Remember that reading together or listening to an audiobook always counts!

For Adults
Read for a total of 80 minutes and complete five activities: write a letter, enjoy a warm drink, attend a library event, make a craft, and read or watch something a librarian recommends.
