Assessment Appeals Board Forms

Appeal forms for Regular Assessments are available from July 2 through November 30 and can only be filed during that time period. If November 30 falls on a weekend, applications will be accepted the following Monday.
 
Please be aware that the Post Office no longer routinely date stamps mail; you may want to request this service. If an application arrives at the Clerk of the Board's office without clear proof of mailing date, it will be not be accepted.

Assessment Appeal Form Information

  Appeal forms for Regular Assessments can be obtained online between July 2 and November 30 each year and must be submitted with an original signature to the Board of Supervisors office. A $30 processing fee (PDF) per application is required. (Pursuant to Government Code Section 68632, you may qualify for a fee waiver. Please contact the Clerk of the Board for further information.)

2022/23 Assessment Appeal Application

Appeal forms for Supplemental or Escape Assessments are available any time throughout the year and must be filed no later than 60 days after the date on which the assessee was notified. Appeal forms for Calamity assessments are available any time throughout the year and must be filed within six months of the mailing of the Assessor's notice of reassessment.
