Public Access Television & Online Streaming

In an effort to expand its practice of open government and transparency for citizens, Nevada County collaborated with Nevada City, Grass Valley and our local Public Access Community TV stations to provide government meetings on cable TV and "streaming" on the Internet.

Equipment & Network Hosting

The County hosts all the video broadcasting and streaming equipment that make this service possible, as well as operates the fiber optic network (I-Net) that carries the video signals.

Meeting Videos

Western County residents can view live public meetings on Channel 17. Meetings are re-broadcast throughout the week. It's best to watch live and past meetings from the County or City sites as the corresponding meeting Agenda is provided with the video display. Channel 17 also broadcasts other local public meetings, events, public service announcements, and related content. You can watch the 24/7 live stream of Channel 17.

Eastern County residents can view on channel 24.

Agenda Center

Live Meetings are also available on the Internet and archived meeting are available "on-demand" anytime. All archived meetings can be viewed by agenda item and are keyword searchable.
