Illegal Dumping pickup requests apply to solid waste dumped or left in the right of way along County Maintained Roads. Pick up services are not provided for private roads or property. Abandoned vehicles should be reported through the Abandon Vehicle site.
To submit an illegal dumping pick up request, please use one of the following tools:
- Call the Solid Waste Division at (530) 265-7111. Please include location and description of items for pick up as well as a phone number in case we have any questions. You can also send an email to the Solid Waste Team. Please include photos, if possible, and a detailed message regarding the location of the waste.
- Submit a Solid Waste Illegal Dumping request online using the Service Request Tool. Please include closest address or street location to the dump site, details of the solid waste, and If possible, upload a photo of the site and waste.
If the illegal dumping is in the County jurisdictions, requests are forwarded to the appropriate staff for pick up and disposal. Please allow 2-3 days for staff to coordinate and clean up the waste. Thank you! Solid Waste Division (530) 265-7111 and email
