​Birth & Death Certificates

Currently by appointment only.                    No walk-ins.

Our Vital Records Office provides birth and death records, and Medical Marijuana Identification Cards.  We also provide funeral homes and mortuaries with death certificates.  You can email the Vital Records office:

​Immunizations & Flu Shots

Currently by appointment only.                  No walk-ins.

Our immunization program provides both childhood and adult vaccines, including flu shots.

WIC (Women, Infants & Children)

WIC is a program to help pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children eat well, stay health and be active.

Communicable Disease Reporting

This portal allows healthcare providers to report certain communicable diseases to the Nevada County Public Health Department.

Tuberculosis Testing

We provide low-cost tuberculosis (TB) testing to the community.
